Off to church camp this weekend

The whole family is heading off to church camp this weekend. We head up into the Santa Cruz mountains Friday afternoon and will be staying at a church camp. There are some sessions for the adults Friday night and Saturday but most of Saturday afternoon and evening are family time to just relax. The kids will be in child care doing art projects and games when the adults are in sessions. We’re not sure how well the littlest ones will tolerate this but we’re giving it a shot. Some of the folks from our chuch smallgroup are going to be there too so we may end up leaning on them from some help if things get hard. Sunday will be a service and some other short sessions and by early afternoon we’ll be home. Maybe in time to get some work done on the big ole flower bed that we just put in the front of the yard. More on that later.

Should be a fun weekend and nice to have time with the family without having to worry about cooking chores or other stuff. We may even get to go ride Roaring Camp Railroad into the redwoods. We’ve not done that in 3 years so the kids will love it.
